According to tradition, 4 different countries give the best of themselves during the first four fireworks evenings. The unique combination of a choreography of fireworks that runs synchronously to the chosen music is a unique feature. These fireworks shows are all gems of the highest level. Which countries will participate this year remains a secret for a while. The closing fireworks of the city council of Knokke-Heist on August 27 are custom made by HC Pyrotechnics from Belgium. The winner will also be announced that evening.
For several years now, the flares have been set off from the beach near the Meerlaan. This ensures a total experience over the entire seawall, from De Wandelaar to Rubensplein. Sound boxes will be provided between those two points, which will be fully synchronized with the fireworks spectacle. In this way the people can easily spread out over the entire length of the seawall, which ensures that anyone who wishes can avoid the crowds.
